Making Pretzels

T4 and I had some fun yesterday. We are celebrating Easter this week and we decided to make some pretzels.


1 package yeast

1 1/2 cup warm water

4 cups flour

1 ts salt

1 beaten egg

harsh salt

We started with  1 1/2 c warm water and one package ( 2 1/4 teas) yeast. Let it do its thing, ‘bubble up’

Add remaining ingredients except egg and harsh salt.

Spoon into small balls and roll into a ‘snake’. Place on cookie shape in the twisted pretzel design. Brush the beaten egg on each pretzel and sprinkle with harsh salt.

Bake in oven at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
