Blessings, Dear Ones!
I pray this finds you well! I am excited about this series! I hope you will be blessed.  We are blessed as mothers, aren’t we? I was reading a facebook post this  morning that was written on blessing  about ” being blessed is more than receiving a gift” and it caused me to think and respond.., “amen, and it is for us but for others.”  We are “blessed to be a blessing”.
Listen to the words spoken by Mary, ““My soul magnifies the Lord, 47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, 48 for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant. For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed;” The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. 2001 (Lk 1:46–48).Â
According to Strong’s Concordance, “Bless” in the original means, “3106. μακαÏίζω makarizÅ, mak-ar-id´-zo; from 3107; to beatify, i.e. pronounce (or esteem) fortunate:—call blessed, count happy.”   We beautify and pronounce our children, our families fortunate. We count them happy. Isn’t this something we are highly concerned with? Our babies happiness?  But where do we start? Mothering can be very overwhelming. There is no ‘to do lists’ or instruction manuals.. are is there? The Bible is a book full of wisdom and guidance on how to live  our lives. We desire to leave a mark on our children’s lives and the most important way is to live a life devoted to Christ before them, to live a life of integrity and devotion to the One, the Giver of all good gifts.
We must spend time alone with the One Who directs our paths. Â If you are new to a quiet time with the Lord, Please read, The Need for a Basket and a Cup of Coffee. Â Our time alone is our life line and our source of blessing and strength. We cannot live this life of blessing towards others if we are not plugged into Jesus. Set a time each day, even if it is just for five to ten minutes to start with. It will become your lifeline to a purposeful home life. I cannot stress the importance enough!
I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on this series!
