Do you know who you truly are? Do you know deep down how much He loves you? No matter what you have done or pain you experienced, He calls you His pearl of great price.
I am coming to understand how much our understanding of our identity in Christ is imperative to living the life He died to give us. So with that said, shortly, we will be making a change. We are becoming, His Beloved Jewels Ministries
based on Ephesians 1
Starting with verse 3
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love
5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,
6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.
If you have ever read Ephesians, you will become very familiar with the phrase, “In Him” or “In Christ”. If you have received His gift of salvation, you are adopted into His family, you are His ‘blood’ relative! You are now entirely given all rights and blessed with every spiritual blessing, Paul wrote that Christ Himself has for us in heavenly places. He chose you! And me! We are hand-picked, and he has bestowed on us in the Beloved.
This word bestowed means given favor, honored, acceptance. We are His. Ponder this for a while. Instead of focusing on your faults and failures, try seeing yourself for whom He sees you. Priceless. Favored. Accepted. So many of us walk around believing our flaws and our sin define us. We need to repent, confess our sins and leave them at the cross! He alone can deal with our sin. And when He forgives us, and He is faithful and just to forgive us each and every sin, it is finished. The battle for our freedom was completed 2000 years ago. We do not need to let shame cripple us! He who the Son sets free is free indeed!
I hope you know you are deeply loved. And I hope you join us on our journey of Loving our Jesus and living it our for all to see! Want to join the discussion? Join our Online Community!
