Praying for Our Nations

Today is the Day

I will be praying today.

It is a reminder to us that we need to forget. This should be our daily thing to do. We are called to pray for our leaders.

2 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. 3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. 2001 (1 Ti 2:1–6). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.

We have a duty to be on our knees, doing ‘battle’ and praying for peace. Praying for health and restoration. Praying that our country would return to its roots and find ourselves praying for repentance. We need to be forgiven and we need to humble ourselves and it starts with us!

Dear ones, WOULD  YOU JOIN ME? He calls us to pray for all people and we are called to pray for our leaders, not only those we agree with but all leaders. So I encourage you today to sign up with me to pray for our leaders. He alone is truly in control and He places leaders in place and removes them as He pleases. He is Sovereign and has called us to duty! Duty on our knees.

will you join me?  Each Monday we will pray for our country. Please sign up and let me know you are joining me!

Please grab this one of these buttons to add anywhere easily found on your blog and then follow the three people before you on this list 🙂
