Out of the mouth of babies and infants,
you have established strength because of your foes,
to still the enemy and the avenger. (Ps 8:2).Â
Babies are precious and a gift from God. There is so much to learn when we first have a baby and it can be over-welming! Â We will bring you information and encouragement on raising these little ones for Christ!
Newborn – 4 months..
Sit back and enjoy! They grow so fast! Daily you will notice how much your precious one has changed! Take pictures and enjoy her 🙂 Â And REST!! Rest when she naps and let the housework slide a bit 😉 It’s really ok! Do what needs to be done but learn to relax and sleep. You both need the rest and this leads to natural bonding.
Allow yourself both to get into a natural rthym and find a schedule. Yes, the dreaded “S” word 🙂 Babies grow well with a set feeding and sleeping schedule. Be flexible enough to allow for life to happen but they need a set schedule to blossom 🙂
For fussiness, hold your bundle of joy 🙂 football holds are wonderful for tummy aches, wearing your baby is a wonderful way to bond 🙂 They find the sound of your heart beating comforting.
More to come.. feel free to share your thoughts and wisdom!
