Hi,

As stated before, my name is Taylor. I am the oldest of 5 with Nancy being our Mom. She has asked me to write on her site and I agreed. Not quite sure what I plan to write, so I will just write and see what happens. 🙂

As Mom had stated, I am attending College. I am majoring in Liberal Studies with a Concentration in English. I want to become a teacher in an Elementary School. Maybe Principal, but that would be way far in the future. I have always loved working with children. Love seeing their smiles and their curiosity for anything that crawls. I have seen that I can teach these past few years through teaching small groups at church such as MPact (formerly Missionettes).  People have asked which grade I would prefer. My answer would always be I would be happy with any grade, but if I had to choose it would be second. So, that’s why I am attending college. If God has me teaching or doing something else, I will be happy with it. I just hope it’s with children. 🙂

Some interests of mine are that I like to read. Unless it’s something for school, I don’t really get to this very much, but sometimes I do. My favorite genre is Historical Fiction. The books I’m reading right now are The Judgment by Beverley Lewis and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I also like to watch TV. My favorite show is The Closer. I watched a little bit of Alcatraz and I like that as well. I also like to hang with my friends.

My favorite genres of music are Christian and Country. As much as I love my Country music, I have chosen to only listen to Christian music until Easter is over. I chose to do this a while ago and have already seen my relationship with God growing. No not saying that country music is bad. I know that after Easter I will be listening to it again after this is over, but I know that I will not be the main music I listen to like it has in the past.

So, this is me. Nothing too exciting but I’m all good with that.

Talk with you soon. 🙂

My Testimony

I grew up in a Christian home. Went to church for as long as I can remember. I was saved when I was 5. When I was twelve, my friends and I went to youth group for the first time. Through that first year in youth, I had become closer in my walk with God and haven’t been the same. Since I had started College, He had put me in different leadership positions in the Children Ministry. It was through these experiences that I had learned that I can lead. So this is me. Still growing. Still learning. But I guess that’s how it should be.
